At one time or another, we all seem to be searching for the answer to good health and looking great. These days, there are endless theories explaining how to feel and look your best. It is easy to get frustrated with the contradictions from one book to the next or with someone on TV promoting another “new method”. It is no wonder that no matter how motivated we seem to be to improve our health follow our doctor's advise or lose weight, the syndrome of “boring” sets in. As your Food Coach, I help guide you toward that winning goal of achieving the healthiest life possible. A healthy life includes a healthy body AND healthy mind.

What I have to offer to you is a unique ability to “coach” and teach you how to get and stay healthy to live a long and energized life. I have no catchy words to try to “sell” you, but I can promise that if you do not feel, look or act healthy now, I will be able to help inspire you to change not only the way you look, but even more importantly, how you feel. This also applies to children who are having difficulties with health, weight and behavior. You will be surprised that, in many cases, just a very few adjustments in foods, some that are being eaten and some that are lacking, will change their lives, and yours. I believe with the right tools, you can dig your way out of anything. Almost anyone in life who has been a winner, regardless what that may be for any given individual, usually has won because of having a coach or a role model by their side. This is what I can be for you on your quest to finding how to achieve your healthiest mind and body.

With me as your Food Coach you will:

  • Learn how to shop and cook, amazing tasting, and healthy food without it being a stressor in your life. You will have your Food Coach, literally, right by your side. You will learn the difference between what are “good” ingredients and, what are “bad” ingredients, and why. You will learn to understand how certain ingredients affect our body, the way we look and our behavior.

  • Learn that food should be enjoyed and a fun part of your life, even with restrictions given by your doctor for medical reasons.

  • Learn that deprivation is not part of the life plan with food.

  • Learn that good nutrition does not mean having to give up most foods that you enjoy. With me as your Food Coach, you literally “can have your cake and eat it too!”

  • Learn that variety is the key to not getting bored with the food you eat and how to be creative in preparing old and new foods.

  • Learn how and why food can affect your mind as well as your body. Find out that exercise should be a mainstay in your life but, if you are not eating healthy, you are only achieving part of your life plan to good health. You need to do both.

  • Learn that there should not be room for the word “dieting” in your vocabulary.

  • Learn how important it is to teach your children, from an early age, why what they put in their bodies and being active is as important as why they need to brush their teeth or put on a seat belt.
